Axiomer® could potentially yield a new class of innovative medicines and treat currently untreatable diseases.

Our HR department is looking for a Recruitment Coordinator (full-time) to join our team.

Location: Leiden, the Netherlands (on-site)

The role

As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will provide experienced administrative and operational support throughout the recruitment process. You will work closely with our Lead Talent Acquisition, hiring managers, candidates and external recruitment agencies to ensure that recruitment activities are well organized and that candidates receive a professional and positive experience.

The main focus of this role is on recruitment coordination, administration and candidate communication. For selected vacancies, you will also support parts of the recruitment process, such as reviewing applications and conducting initial screening calls. The overall ownership of the recruitment strategy and process remains with the Lead Talent Acquisition.

This role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys operational recruitment, takes pride in keeping processes organized and accurate, and is comfortable working independently within clearly defined responsibilities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and administer recruitment activities for vacancies in the Netherlands and occasionally in other locations;

  • Organize interviews, including scheduling, preparing interview panels, arranging travel when required, and coordinating with Reception to support on-site meetings;

  • Acting as a contact person in the event of last-minute cancellations or changes to interview plans;

  • Monitoring and responding to enquiries received through the Recruitment inbox and other recruitment channels;

  • Maintain timely and professional communication with candidates, hiring managers and external recruitment agencies.

  • Keep Teamtailor and all recruitment files accurate, complete and up to date.

  • Support the development and maintenance of our candidate database.

  • Review applications and support the initial screening of candidates for selected vacancies.

  • Conduct initial screening calls for selected vacancies, in alignment with the Lead Talent Acquisition and hiring managers.

  • Support referrals, internal candidates, reference checks and other pre-employment requirements.

  • Support the onboarding process for new hires.

  • Help identify and resolve administrative or planning issues in the recruitment process.

  • Support recruitment-related projects and improvements to systems and processes.

  • Support the HR team with other HR initiatives as needed and where time allows.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business administration or a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • At least two years of experience in recruitment coordination, recruitment administration or an HR support role.

  • Experience organizing interviews and managing recruitment administration.

  • Experience communicating with candidates, hiring managers and external recruitment agencies.

  • Experience with screening calls is preferred.

  • Experience in life sciences, biotech, medical or another technically oriented environment is an advantage.

  • Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.

  • Experience with an ATS or candidate database. Experience with Teamtailor is an advantage.

  • Experience working with LinkedIn and job boards.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • The ability to learn new systems quickly and handle confidential information with discretion.
