Our proprietary Axiomer™ RNA editing technology platform enables the editing of specific single nucleotides in RNA using the cells own editing machinery. Axiomer RNA editing technology harnesses ADAR (Adenosine Deaminase Acting on RNA), a protein which is present in all human cells, to repair G-to-A mutations, modulate protein, and enable protective mutation functions. Axiomer could potentially yield a new class of innovative medicines and treat currently untreatable diseases. By harnessing the power of RNA editing, we aim to create a world where genetics inform your health - but never limit it.

The role: As Associate Research Technician you will be responsible for the execution of experiments to support our ongoing research projects. You will work closely together with other (Sr.) Research Technicians and Scientists.

We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience in one or more of the following:

• RNA analysis techniques, e.g RNA isolation, cDNA synthesis, (digital) PCR and library preparation/NGS

• Laboratory automation equipment

We expect our associate research technician:

• To have an MLO degree level 4 with 0-2 years working experience (preferably in industry)

• To be solution and result driven

• To work with focus in a dedicated team

• To execute experiments

• To report these experiments in a lab journal

• To take care of laboratory organization and related administrative tasks
